A raccoon raiding party will leave a lookout behind to warn of trouble. When the party returns, they feed the lookout first with the best morsels as a sign of acknowledgment for doing a generous and dangerous service. Raccoon teaches that a generous spirit will be rewarded far and above the deed done. To give is to receive and always honor the dignity of others by assisting them if needed but not making them dependant.

Prints:
Art by Montana Black prints are matted using 100% acid free cream matte board. They come in three ready to frame standard sizes – 8”x10”, 11”x14”, 16”x20”and are placed in a protective poly bag. The meaning of each image is included on the back of each print. Montana Black signs every print, only some 16x20’s are limited edition and are therefore numbered as well.
